Terms & Conditions
Last updated: February 12, 2025
Zap-Work is a peer-to-peer marketplace built on sovereignty and trust between users. We simply facilitate connections, communication, and escrow holding. All agreements, work, and transactions occur directly between independent individuals. Zap-Work does not control, guarantee, or direct user activities—we provide the tools, and the users drive the outcome. By accessing or using Zap-Work, you agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

6Payments & Escrow
6.1 Payment Method
- All payments are made using BTC or satoshis.
- Bitcoin transactions are final and irreversible.
6.2 Escrow & Completion Flow
- When a Client hires a Provider and pays, funds enter Escrow.
- Only the Client can mark a task as Completed.
- After marking a task Completed, the Client may press "Release Funds."
- If the Client does not press Release Funds, Escrow will automatically release funds 21 days after the task is marked Completed, unless a dispute is opened.
- The 21-day timer only begins after the Client marks the task Completed.
6.3 No Completion = No Release
- If the Client never marks the task as Completed, funds remain in Escrow indefinitely.
- Auto-release does not start until the Client confirms completion.
- Zap-Work will not force completion. Only disputes can override this.
6.4 Disputes
- A Dispute may be opened at any time within the 21-day period after task completion.
- Opening a Dispute pauses the 21-day auto-release timer.
- Both parties must provide evidence when requested, including:
